SCI Gateway - Scotland

SCI Gateway is a national system in Scotland for the secure electronic exchange of clinical information, for example, referrals.

To access SCI Gateway, from Vision Anywhere, select EXTERNAL SERVICES - SCI Gateway from the Navigation bar.

Providing you have used SCI Gateway before, you are logged in automatically and the Welcome to SCI Gateway screen displays.

If you have not logged in before:

  1. The SCI Gateway screen displays with the 'There are no SCI Gateway credentials' message above it, select User Services - Manage Credentials.

  2. The Manage Credentials screen displays, complete as per your username and password supplied by either your practice administrator or Health Board.

  3. Select Save .

The Welcome to the SCI Gateway screen displays.

Training Tip - You should check for new and updated messages within SCI Gateway Work Lists on a regular basis.
